Oma and Papaw visit

Oma and Papaw went on a cross country trip and spent about a week visiting us in Colorado.  We had a good time visiting mostly and getting a little help on our new house.  We laughed and played a ton and had a great visit.  I realized after looking at the pictures just how much normal everyday stuff we did and we loved it.  We hope to see you in Colorado again soon Oma and Papaw!

True to her skills my Mom introduced them to a few new games on the kindle/IPAD and my Mom was good at them just like when we were kids and she used to play Pac-Man.  

 My Dad loves a good front porch and so do Symeon and Marin so they spent a lot of time hanging together on the porch.  

 Symeon learned to make a volcano at school with vinegar and baking soda and he was so excited to show Oma and Papaw

 A new pool made for some fun afternoons while we grilled and played.  

 There were all kind of things under that water so fun!

An epic water battle began one afternoon.  Shawn and Babes against Symeon and I then the girls against the boys. 

 Papaw's morning buddy who enjoyed milk and cookies while Papaw had ginger snaps and coffee.  When you are Papaw's little Angel you can do anything even have milk and cookies as part of breakfast.

 My Mom spent one whole day of her vacation sewing.  Then my Dad spent a whole day hanging curtains, hooks, working on an AC etc and of course they had helpers.  

 Oma came to VBS with us which was treat for the kids and me.  

 Then we took Oma to watch the kids get haircuts.
