E-A-G-L-E-S

Shawn is a fan of all Philly sports teams and Symeon and I have joined in the fun. My dear friend Lisa has been a football fan for years and I always wondered how she could spend Sunday afternoon watching games. Well for about 10 years now I have been an Eagles fan and have been watching every game but this year I have reached a new level of love for the game. I have my own Fantasy Football team called The Lovebugs and now I spend all day Sunday watching different games, keeping track of my players, and threatening to bench players if they don't step up their games. So football has become quite the topic in our house and we are all really enjoying this season.

An extra set of hands

This is how Symeon carries things when he needs both his hands. It is really funny when he crawls with them in his mouth.

Symeon love fruit

Whenever we have an apple we have to share it with Symeon. He loves apples and it is pretty cute when he wants a bite. Luckily he still isn't able to bite any off so really he just sucks on it.

Silly Sleepy

Symeon is quite funny when he gets really tired. Here is a video of his shenanigans.

7 months old

Symeon is 7 months old and it is hard to believe. He seems to get sweeter, more loving, and more snuggly with age. He continues to amaze us with his physical ability and coordination. He stands quite a bit, finds it easy to pull himself up, stands on his tip toes when there is something he is trying to reach. Sometimes when he needs both hands he uses one elbow to steady himself he doesn't need to much help to stand and he is letting go with more frequency and staying on his feet longer. He will also hold your hands and walk slowly and a little clumsy but he is learning.

Boo Boo's

Symeon had his first injury that left quite a mark on his chin. He skidded his face off of the legs of Shawn's desk chair. This first injury came on the eve of his first six months photos. Shawn and I had talked about this the week before and we were both sure there would be some sort of injury that would leave a mark on his face prior to the pictures and well we were right. He still looked so cute in his pics so no harm done.

This second injury came with blood as he slid his face down the dining room chair. Luckily this one came after his pictures. He is all healed up now but we are just waiting for what might be next. I really hope stitches are not in his near future. If you are wondering that is drool on his sweatshirt and we keep thinking with this amount of drool there should be a tooth soon but none yet.
