Fun Pics since we have been home

Well we are adjusting to life with two children and overall it is going well. Symeon is doing pretty good all things considered and Marin is a great baby who sleeps really well at night. We are enjoying life a little fatigued but overall really thankful.

Symeon giving Sissy high five after her first bath, he is a good helper and eager to assist whenever he can.

Our dear sweet girl. She has blonde hair which surprised us both with a hint of strawberry blonde when she is in the sunlight and she has beautiful blue eyes. It will be interesting to see what color her hair and eyes will be as she grows.

I love baby feet so I have to include this picture.

I also love baby hands how sweet is she.

The Paxton garden is in process and Symeon has taken a liking to gardening. Here he is hoeing and another day he was digging quite a big hole for a really big seed.

Cute pics of Symeon

Here are a few cute pics of Symeon while he waits to become a big brother.

We are trying to get Symeon to say "cheese" when we take his picture and here he saying it which is just so cute. He has started saying quite a few words all with ees in them. Like teeth, cheese, and keys.

My Mom and Dad brought this little rocker down for Symeon it was my Grandfather's when he was a kid so it is pretty old. Symeon loves it and although it has to go on time out periodically he enjoys sitting in it. He also enjoys standing on it and pushing it over to his Daddy's desk and standing on it to reach things he is not allowed to have hence the time outs when the chair has to be locked in the bathroom.

Here he is having one of his many snacks during the day in his new chair.

Almost 41 weeks and counting

Hi all we are still waiting for our little one to arrive. Everyone said you usually go early with your second well not this second baby. I have decided he or she wants to make a grand entrance while everyone is waiting. I am almost a week over due and although I feel great I am getting pretty ready to have this baby. Waiting is the hardest and although I know I have control issues this is hard even if you don't. You just have to wait until this person is ready or the doctor says you can't wait anymore. My doctor has said May 18th is the final day so if this baby does not come on its own then May 18th is a great day to have a baby. My Mom would be happy because that is her birthday and although that would be special I do not want to be induced and I don't really want to wait until the 18th. But once again I have no control over this little one so I am keeping busy playing with Symeon, hanging out with Shawn and my parents, baking English muffins from scratch, grocery shopping, and taking long walks in the evening hoping to help this little one along. Overall I feel great and the baby is doing fine so really what is there to complain about. Here is my most recent picture and if you think I might burst you are probably right and hopefully soon!

39 Weeks

Here is Symeon and I at 39 weeks. I often tease Symeon with one of his small stuffed animals and put it up his shirt then I ask him where his cow is, he laughs then I pull the cow out. We usually do this a few times and then he gets bored but the other day was a bit different. I put the cow in and he wanted me to leave it that way and he kept it in his shirt for a couple of hours. It was so funny to see him waddling around and he had a hard time getting up and down and actually he fell and got a big welt on his face and over his eye. I did have to laugh becuase at one point he was trying to look down and he couldn't see the book he was trying to look at and I told him it is hard to have such a big belly. Whatever was going on in his head it was so sweet and cute.

I wonder if I look this uncomfortable?

Here he is helping me pull out his summer clothes and put away his winter clothes. Bellys and all we were still able to crawl around on the floor.
He needed a little helping standing up and later so did I but Shawn had to help me.

39 weeks and the countdown begins. If you look close you can see the cow legs sticking out the bottom on his shirt. I think his delivery was a bit easier than mine will be but who knows!
