On the day of her birthday we celebrated as a family. First thing we gave her the big gift which was a dollhouse. We had been thinking about getting her one but honestly I was not going to pay the amount they wanted so when I found it at a kid sale for a 1/3 of the price with the furniture I snatched it up. It was a hit!
I love this picture for two reasons. First Marin is showing it to Symeon and second because you can see the banner the kids made in the background for the birthday party.
So sweet Symeon made this rocks at school for Marin and the treasure hunt part of the party. His teachers said he was very sure Babes would love these and he was right she loved them.

I love the light in her eyes I see it every year from every kid when it is their special turn to blow out their candles.
Keep in mind this girl can blow up any balloon on her but when it came to blow out the candles she did not let any air out of her lips it was hysterical.

Time to open presents via Skype with Oma and Papaw

Once again very serious Babes took over and she barely smiled during the whole time it was so funny
What else to do at the end of your birthday sport some boots. Girl's winter boots for Symeon and the dress Oma made Marin and some cowboy boots. It was a fun day celebrating the day Marin brightened our family and the world with her presence. A joy in every way!
