Stanley Cup

Although the Stanley Cup playoffs ended badly for our team the Flyers we still had a lot of fun as a family cheering them on.  Shawn and I were able to attend the semi-final game that the Flyers won and sent them into the playoffs.   It has been awhile since we were able to get away and we had such a good time together.  Two of our dear friends watched the kids and off to Philly we went.  Back in the day we did stuff like this all the time but now that our lives are a bit different it is more of a special treat and boy have I missed it.

One really funny part of the evening were our seats.  As many of you know Shawn has the skills to get pretty good seats for some events and this was one of them.  We were in the lower section close to center ice.  We were laughing remembering when we use to buy cheap seats way up at the top and then during the first period Shawn would scope out seats in the lower section and during the break we would sneak down to the good seats.  We actually never got busted which is amazing since we did it all the time but on this night we were in the really good seats legitimately which was fun yet different.  In some ways I miss our broke days of sneaking down in other ways I really like the good seats.  Either way through good seats and bad I have been sitting next to my best friend and that is what made all the games wonderful.
